Com muita alegria, anuncio a abertura das vendas do primeiro lote da série de nove que lançarei ao longo do tempo.
São impressões fine art de pinturas em aquarela e tintas de terra (geotintas), desenvolvidas em colaboração com a Prof.ª Dra. Ana Lopes Assunção. Essas obras nasceram em 2022, durante minha residência artística na Indigo Arts Alliance (EUA), onde pesquisei alimentos e receitas que atravessaram o Atlântico e foram recriados nas Afro-Américas. Tive o privilégio de contar com a consultoria de Scott Barton (NYU), referência na pesquisa sobre culturas gastronômicas afro-diaspóricas.
Esta série de trabalhos em cor integra o projeto AMOR-Tecimento, que investiga formas de cuidado, memória e preservação de nossas histórias enquanto povo afro-diaspórico.

Já os quatro trabalhos em aguada feitos em nanquim compõem o políptico “O Grande Golpe” (2022), que trata da solidão, da resignação, do silêncio e do sufocamento que marcam a maternidade solo — especialmente durante o puerpério. Cada obra tem medida A5 (14,8 x 21 cm) e são vendidos exclusivamente em conjunto.

I am happy to announce the opening of sales for the first batch in a series of nine print releases that will unfold over time.
These are fine art prints of watercolor and earth pigment (geopaint) paintings, created in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Ana Lopes Assunção. The works were developed in 2022 during my artist residency at Indigo Arts Alliance (USA), where I researched foods and recipes that crossed the Atlantic and were reinvented in the Afro-Americas. I had the privilege of receiving guidance from Scott Barton (NYU), a leading scholar on Afro-diasporic food cultures.
This vibrant series is part of the AMOR-Tecimento project, which explores care, memory, and the preservation of our histories as Afro-diasporic peoples.

Additionally, the four ink wash drawings compose the polyptych “The Great Blow” (2022), addressing solitude, resignation, silence, and the suffocating experience of solo motherhood — especially during the postpartum period. Each work measures A5 (14.8 x 21 cm) and is sold only as a full set.
