Essas pinturas não seguem o raciocínio hegemônico europeu de continuidade linear da tradição a óleo. O gesto aqui é outro: descolonizar a forma, o tema, a matéria. Acrílicas e aquarelas se encontram com elementos naturais, tecidos, brilhos e adesivos — materiais muitas vezes desconsiderados — compondo um léxico visual de reinvenção. A reincidência do retrato e do lírico afirma um espaço entre o real e o direito radical de imaginar. Não se trata de herança, mas de ruptura sensível.

These paintings do not follow the hegemonic European logic of a linear oil painting tradition. The gesture is different: to decolonize form, subject, and material. Acrylics and watercolors merge with natural elements, textiles, glitter, and stickers — materials often dismissed — forming a visual lexicon of reinvention. The recurrence of portraiture and lyrical tones affirms a space between reality and the radical right to imagine. This is not inheritance, but a sensitive rupture.
